5 Second CPS Test
Five seconds is the most widely used CPS benchmark — long enough to settle into a rhythm, short enough to stay a fair test of speed rather than endurance.
Your browser doesn't support high-resolution timing.
Please update to a modern version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari to take this test.
How to Use This Test
- Click the box as fast as you can for the full 5 seconds.
- Try to maintain a steady rhythm rather than starting fast and fading.
- Compare your score against the level table below.
Understanding Your Results
The 5 second window is long enough to average out a lucky or unlucky first click, making it the most representative single-run benchmark on this site. It's also what our level system (Beginner through Legendary) is calibrated against, so your 5 second score is the most directly comparable to the level targets.
About the 5 Second CPS Test
Because it balances burst speed with a small amount of endurance, the 5 second CPS test is the closest thing to a standard benchmark in the clicking community — most CPS comparisons you'll see online use this duration by default.
Tips to Improve
Aim for a consistent rhythm rather than an all-out sprint that fades by the third second.
Warm up with a 1 second test first to loosen up your hand.
Track your score over several runs in the same session — your best usually improves after a warm-up.
