Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This is a starter privacy policy covering how this platform is built. It is not legal advice — have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it for a live production site, especially regarding jurisdiction-specific requirements like GDPR or CCPA.

What we store locally in your browser

Your personal best scores, level, XP and achievements are stored using your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device — it is not transmitted to our servers as part of normal test-taking, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser's site data will erase this progress.

What we store on our server

Two features write a limited record to our database:

  • Friend challenges: when you generate a challenge link, we store the test mode, duration, your score and a non-reversible hash derived from your IP address and browser (used only for basic rate-limiting and anomaly checks) — never your raw IP address alongside the score.
  • Daily challenge: the day's challenge target is stored so every visitor receives the same challenge; this record contains no data about you personally.

We do not log every individual test you run. The live test itself runs entirely in your browser.

Cookies

This theme does not set marketing or tracking cookies by default. WordPress itself may set functional cookies (for example, if you log in as an administrator). If analytics or advertising are added in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required, a consent mechanism will be added before those cookies are set.

Analytics

The platform includes an internal event system (test starts, completions, personal bests, shares, and similar) used to understand feature usage. No specific analytics vendor is wired in by default — if one is added later, this section will be updated to name it and describe what it collects.

Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Sharing buttons link out to third-party services (WhatsApp, Facebook, X, email) that you choose to use — those services' own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Children's privacy

This platform is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can clear your local progress at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain. Since no account exists in this version of the platform, there is no server-side account data to request or delete.
